PARADERO, BOLÍVAR STATE
Latitude: 08° 22' North (N); Longitude: 62° 38' West (W)

Location: This oil loading port is located in the right riverbank of the River Orinoco to the height of the mile 176,4 and about 5 Kilometers from San Félix which is reached by means of a type “B” paved road. In this oil Terminal there are facilities of storage of several types of fuels. The pipes that it possesses the dock are only to discharge the ships that provide the existing deposits in said Terminal.

MATANZAS
Latitude: 08° 17' Norte (N); Longitude: 62°47' West (W)

Location: On Mile 195 from the sea, on the Orinoco River .

Anchorage: Between Miles N° 195 and 197.

Operators: C.V.G. Venezuelan Guayana Corporation, Siderurgica del Orinoco C.A, Matanzas, Ciudad Guayana, Bolivar State, Venezuela.

Port Services: Mooring capacity for 200 meters long ships for the river levels maximum, medium and mini­mum. Its connection to shore is carried out by means of a reinforced concrete viaduct with a length of 150.5 mts. in the axis. The width of this viaduct at this point is 13 mts. There is also a floating dock of about 0.7 miles . upriver from the previous one, made up of a 81.40 mts. long by 15.85 meters width barge, with an access ramp on floating boat hookers for the transit of vehi­cles. It has a 100 tons capacity crane with 440 Volts motors. This dock is used for unloading of fuel oil and eventually for unloading of general cargo.iIi

Matanzas Provisional Dock:
This is located 1.3 kilometers upstream from the port of Matanzas, position: Latitude 08° 26' 40" North and Longitude 62° 51' 20" West, barges carrying Fuel-Oil and General Cargo dock here.

Stevedores Services: available around the clock, 7 days a week.

MUELLE DE MATANZAS
Latitude: 08° 17' Norte (N); longitude: 62° 47' 50" West (W)

Location: It is situated on the right hand bank of the Orinoco River, at the height of mil e 195,1. This is a floating pier with a fixed red light on the “east” extreme and a series of bright lights installed on the unloading crane tower. There is also a fixed pier, 300 meters in length and 23 meters wide, made of reinforced concrete, with 69 bitts for mooring 7.500 tons ships and 18 bitts for mooring 2.500 tons ships on three levels of the river, maximum, medium and minimum, it is connected to shore by means of a reinforced concrete ramp with a length of 150 meters.The width of the road a this point is 13 meter.

LOS CARIBES
Latitude: 08° 20' Norte (N); Longitude: 62° 46' West (W)

Location: The pier is located on the southern bank of the River Orinoco to the height of the mile 193. It is formed by a barge measuring 40 meters of longitudy 10 meters in width, which is fixed by means of chains and anchors, with a depth of low water 8 meters The access to the pier is made by a traffic gangplank for vehicles of up to 2 tons; it is also used to support the pipe 8 inches dedicated to the pumping of cement from the ships to the 3 silos with a capacity 12.000 tons.

The distance among the two bits of mooring of the jetty is of 42 meters.

The port has capacity to assist three ships a month and it can mobilize an average of 100.000 annual tons.

PUERTO ORDAZ
Latitude: 08° 21' Norte (N); Longitude: 62° 43' West (W)

Port of Alcasa:
This pier is located in Matanzas , at the height of kilometer 357 of the Orinoco River . Position: Latitude 8°18'30" Norte (N) and longitude 62° 49' 10" (W). Its main purpose is the unloading of Alumina Acid in bulk, used for processing at the Caroní Aumínum Plant. Its is a floating dock, measuring 62 meters in length and 15 meters in width; it has only one mooring space which consists of two (2) joined barges, fixed to the spot by means of anchors. It is used in the productions of aluminum.

Port of Venalum:
This port is located at the height of kilometer 359 of the Orinoco River. Its main purpose is the exporting of aluminum products. It is attached to land by two 11 meters wide bridges, situated at its ends. The pier consists of a steel platform supported by piles; it is a fixed structure with a length of 215 meters and a width of 20 meters .

Port of Interalumina:
This is to be found at the height of kilometer 356.7 of the Orinoco River , between the Alcasa and Punta Cuchillo Point. Position: Latitude: 8° 18' 31" N and longitude 62° 49' W. It consists of two piers running parallel to the river bank. The first is 200 meters long, ít lacks specialized harbor equipment and it primarily used for unloading, the other pier is used for unloading alumina.

PUERTO SAN FELIX
Latitud: 08° 21' Norte (N); Longitud: 62° 43' Oeste

LOCATION: Near mile 179 of the channel.
LENGTH: 120 Mts.
TYPE OF PIER: Floating
BERTHS: One (01) for general cargo ships.

EQUIPMENT: Two (02) cranes of 10 MT each to move cargo between the pier and the storing yards.

STORING CAPACITY:

• One (01) open storage yard of 21,000 Sq.M.
• Two (02) roofed warehouses of 355 an 172 Sq.M.
• Silos for cereal

PALUA
Latitude: 08° 21' Norte (N); Longitude: 62° 43' West (W)

LOCATION: Mile 181,4 of the Orinoco river navigation channel.

TYPE OF PIERS: Only two piers available.

1. FLOATING PIER:
   LENGTH: 122 Mts.
   BERTHS: One (01) exclusive for loading and unloading of general cargo.
   Five (05) sections joined together by bolts and fixed to the ground by four
   (04) supports and two (02) anchors. These sections are connected to earth by
   two (02) ramps of 10 Mts. each.
2. MARGINAL PIER:
   LENGTH: 241,2 Mts.
   WIDTH: 22,9 Mts.
   BERTHS: One (01), exclusive for Iron ore cargo coming for El Pao
   Steel structure supported by steel piles.

EQUIPMENT:

• One (01) fixed crane cap. 45 MT on the floating pier for general cargo.
• One (01) iron ore loader with capacity of 4,000 MT/Hour.
• One (01) system of transporting bands of 2,500 MT/Hour on a marginal pier.

STORING CAPACITY:

• One (01) open storage yard for 1,000 MT of mineral
• One small place for 1,000 MT
• No storage for general cargo.
