AS AGENTS WE LIKE TO INFORM TO OWNERS SOME
VENEZUELAN PORT REGULATIONS.

• Schipping and scraping is forbiden while vessel is alongside, except and only at bridge front, funnel and deck, provided that not debries fall overboard.

• Hull painting is forbiden except for plimson disc and load lines, with proper permit given by port capitancy.

• Welding on deck or engine room is completly forbidden unless port fire departmentafter inspection grants permit for such work.

• Liferafts or boats are not allowed to be lower for paintingor maintenance work unless permit is given by port capitancy wether vessel is alongside or at anchorage.

• Ratguards must be placed in order to avoid finess

• Oil and/or garbage spillage into the bay or inside the harbour is heavily fined

• Engine repairs or check-ups require permits given by port authorities prior starting the repairs.

• Port Captain will assign an inspector (surveyor) to check while work is performed, inspector fee must be paid by vessels captain or owners must aprovein writting for agents to pay such fees wich will be indicated at time required.

• Fresh water is supplied by tank trucks since there is no pipeline alongside, in case fresh water is needed please notify it in due time to avoid delays

• Wessels bunkers are supplied by trucks or barge at supliers covinience, arragements ought to be made trought ny oil headquaters.

• The Venezuelan flag must be hoisted each morning at 06:00 and lower at 18:00 while vessel is alongside.

• When crew repatriation or medical attention is required notice in writting must be given to our office. prepaid tickets are a condition since airline agents can not guarantee seamans rebate, giving preference to full pay passengers.

• Car Service for transport to our office communications with owners or for medical service will be on stand by, please call via vhf chanel 16 to our office.

• Those jobs that require port capitancy or port authoritis permits must be notify to our office to request such permits before the proper authorities in due time to avoid delays and/or fines.

• Vessels bount from Puerto Cabello to Maracaibo ought to embark lake pilot at Las Piedras Pilot Station, located 11° 40' N – 70° 14' W.

• Sea Note of Protest must be presented for legalization in spanish, a translator must be used with due service fee added to fee for lawyers and court services.

• RATGUARDS MUST BE PLACED IN ORDER TO AVOID FINESS.

• OIL AND/OR GARBAGE SPILLAGE INTO THE BAY OR INSIDE THA HARBOUR IS HEAVILY FINED.

• ENGINE REPAIRS OR CHECK-UPS REQUIRE PERMITS GIVEN BY PORT AUTHORITIES PRIOR STARTING AT TIME REQUIRED.

• PORT CAPTAIN WILL ASSIGN AN INSPECTOR (SURVEYOR) TO CHECK WHILE WORK IS PERFORMED, INPECTOR FEE MUST BE PAID BY VESSELS CAPTAIN OR OWNERS
• MUST APROVEIN WRITTING FOR AGENTS TO PAY SUCH FEES WICH WILL BE INDICATE AT TIME REQUIRED.

• FRESH WATER IS SUPLIED BY TANK TRUCKS SINCE THERE IS NO PIPELINE ALONGSIDE, IN CASE FRESH WATER IS NEEDED PLEASE NOTITY IT IN DUE TIME TO AVOID DELAYS.

• VESSEL BUNKERS ARE SUPPLIED BY TRUCKS OR BARGE AT SUPLIERS COVINIENCE, ARRAGEMENTS OUGHT TO BE MADE TROUCHT NYTHE OIL HEADQUATERS.

• THE VENEZUELAN FLAG MUST BE HOISTED EACH MORNING AL 06:00 AND LOWER AT 18:00 WHILE VESSEL IS ALONGSIDE.

• WHEN CREW REPATRIATION OR MEDICAL ATTENTION IS REQUIRED NOTICE IN WRITTING MUST BE GIVEN TO OUR OFFICE PREPAID TICKETS.

• ARE A CONDITION SINCE AIRLINE AGENTS CAN NOT GUARANTEE SEAMANS REBATE, GIVING PREFERENCE TO FULL PAY PASSENGERS.

• CAR SERVICE FOR TRANSPORT TO OUR OFFICE COMUMUNICATIONS WITH OWNERS OR FOR MEDICAL SERVICE WIL BE ON STAND BY, PLEASE CALL VIA VHF CHANEL 16 TO OUR OFFICE.

• THOSE JOBS THAT REQUIRE PORT CAPITANCY OR PORT AUTHORITIES PERMITS MUST BE NOTIFY TO OUR OFFICE TO REQUEST SUCH PERMITS BEFORE THE PROPER AUTHORITIES IN DUE TIME TO AVOID DELAYS AND/OR FINES.

• VESSELS BOUNT FROM PUERTO CABELLO TO MARACAIBO OUGTH TO EMBARK LAKE PILOT AT LAS PIEDRAS PILOT STATIOS, LOCATED 11 40 N - 70 14 W.

• SEA NOTE OF PROTEST MUST BE PRESENTED FOR LEGALIZATION IN SPANISH; A TRANSLATOR MUST BE USED WITH DUE SERVICE FEE ADDED TO FEE FOR LAWYERS AND COURT SERVICES.
